Short talks

  • 15-17 additional talks (“short talks”) will be selected by the organizing committee from the submitted abstracts.
  • Notification of abstracts selected for short talks will be sent 3-4 weeks before the meeting.

Deadlines

  • for Application (including Abstract): September 8, 2024
  • Notification of acceptance: Upon sending in your application, you should receive a confirmation e-mail and you can assume you are accepted. You will also receive an email with payment information, and then you will be formally accepted once you will have paid.
  • for Payment: September 25, 2024.
  • Notification of abstracts selected for short talks: 3-4 weeks before the meeting.
  • Final program: a few days before the meeting.

Registration fees

  • Graduate students/postdocs: 1’000 € (includes registration, full board, lodging)
  • Academic PIs and staff scientists: 1’300 € (registration, full board, lodging)
  • Corporate participants: 1’800 € (registration, full board, lodging)
  • This covers everything from dinner on October 23 to breakfast on October 27 (except for your expenses at the bar).

Space

  • The number of participants is limited to encourage an interactive environment.
  • Spouses, kids, friends are welcome provided there is enough space (rooms are limited). You can indicate your wishes in the application form.

Venue

  • Everyone will stay on site or within walking distance. All meals will be taken there. Talks and posters will be presented there. More information can be found here.

  • Graduate students and postdocs may have to share a room (preferred roommates can be indicated upon registration).

  • All rooms have internet access.

Travel

  • We suggest that you fly into Munich. We will organize a bus shuttle service from the airport to Seeon.

  • The closest railway station is Bad Endorf (about ½ hour from Seeon). There you can take a taxi to Seeon.

Program

  • October 23 (Wednesday): Meeting starts with dinner at 7 pm, followed by a keynote lecture.
  • October 24 (Thursday)
  • October 25 (Friday)
  • October 26 (Saturday)
  • October 27 (Sunday): Breakfast and departure.

Posters

  • Everyone can show a poster, even those who are selected to give talks.
  • There will be 2 poster sessions.
  • No particular poster format.!

  • Meeting report: the plan is to publish a meeting report in Cell Stress and Chaperones, but details to be announced.
  • Visa: contact the administrative assistant Susanne Hilber if you need an official invitation.
